OUR VALUES: We are driven by the values of humanitarianism, respect, compassion and creativity.

About the position

The Senior Risk Advisor position sits within our dynamic and growing risk advisory team. The position is based in the UK, near Brighton, but will require regular work in client offices in London, across the UK and overseas.

The ideal applicant will be an experienced security risk management professional who is confident to work at all organisational levels. The successful applicant’s primary activity will be to engage directly with ILS’ clients by providing security risk management advice and training, with the objective of supporting our clients to fulfil the appropriate level of Duty of Care for their staff, assets, programmes, reputation and risk appetite.

This will involve working with clients as an account manager and risk advisor on a retained and project basis and will include: the design and delivery of security risk management frameworks; advising clients and their Boards of Directors on specific risks and risk reduction strategies; conducting safety and security reviews in the UK and overseas; delivering context, threat and risk assessments; and providing guidance in crisis management situations and developing and delivering training.
