How Safe is our Work? The Global Aid and Development Worker Survey- respond by 10 February

Published: January 23, 2017 | By Safer Edge

This global survey of humanitarian workers will be used to help understand the effectiveness of organisational safety provision in the sector so that interested parties can do more to focus improvements where they are needed. The data, which is personally and organisationally anonymous, will be shared with interested humanitarian organisations, donors, and others so that it can be used to good effect, to make the working lives of aid workers safer.

Safer Edge will use the results to present to leaders in the humanitarian sector, with a ground-based insight, what the people who work in the sector really think about how safety is managed in their organisations.

Safer Edge will present the results (all are organisation and person anonymous) at the humanitarian travel risk event in February, Borderless (see http://www.borderless2017.co.uk), and share them with EISF, Insecurity Insights, national and international NGOs, donors, and anybody else who can take the staff safety agenda forwards.

Input is needed from national and international staff and volunteers.

Please take a few moments to complete this short survey, and to pass it on to colleagues to do the same by 10 February. The link is https://goo.gl/forms/3zTi54x58TtY62Nu1
