Annual Fleet Forum Conference 2018 – The Future of Fleet Management

The 16th Annual Fleet Forum Conference 2018 will take place from Wednesday, 6 June – Thursday, 7 June 2018 in the dynamic city of Copenhagen, Denmark.
A.P. Moller – Maersk will host this year’s conference in their International Headquarters, located in the centre of Copenhagen. A.P. Moller – Maersk is an integrated transport and logistics company and a global leader in container shipping and ports. The company employs about 88,000 people in 130 countries. For more than seven years, A.P. Moller – Maersk has been part of the Logistics Emergency Team. Working alongside other corporate partners, the company provides pro-bono emergency support during large-scale natural disasters, on the request of the Global Logistics Cluster.
About the Annual Fleet Forum Conference
Fleet Forum inspires better, cleaner, safer and more effective transport around the world. We see ourselves as enablers with three distinct roles: convenor, solution and tool provider, and thought leader. The Annual Fleet Forum Conference is where these three roles converge. The meeting is a forum to share sector know-how, challenge and inspire one another, collaborate on identifying future solutions and tools, and continue to professionalise our work.
The meeting attracts leaders in their fields from aid and development organisations, the donor community, government, academia and the corporate sector. They share a common interest: To realise the best, most efficient transport solutions possible.
Our 2018 programme will take place over two full days on Wednesday, 6 June and Thursday, 7 June. It will feature more breakout sessions than ever and, for the first time, we will introduce members-only working sessions.
This year’s theme is “Towards the Future of Fleet Management”, underscoring the need to stay ahead of emerging trends. Our two-day meeting will feature a range of topics, including:
- Imagining and creating the future of fleet management;
- How to increase driver engagement;
- How Road Safety Apps can help your organisation;
- How to understand and reduce the environmental impact of your fleet;
- How to use benchmarking to learn from each other’s experiences;
- Why your transport needs should drive your vehicle selection
- The unique challenges of managing fleets in small organisations.
We will also select the winner of the Best Transport Achievement Award, which is presented each year to the humanitarian organisation that most exemplifies excellence. There will also be plenty of networking opportunity, including a Welcome Reception, Group Dinner and lunch and coffee breaks throughout. More details will be shared on our website in coming weeks.
