Resources

EISF Library

The library consists of documents on humanitarian safety and security, all open source and free to download.

Materials include EISF and external research, guidelines, and tools, all related to humanitarian safety and security. The resource also includes documents such as security manuals contributed by external organisations, and rendered anonymous.

The library’s purpose is to encourage policy sharing and facilitate the better-informed review and refreshing of policies, practices and procedures by NGOs.

If you are aware of anything that may be appropriate for either of the library, or if your organisation is willing to share documents, which EISF will render anonymous, please contact eisf-info@eisf.eu.

Many of these documents are in English.  If you have any materials in other languages which you would be willing to share, we would be very pleased to include them.

EISF Research projects

One of EISF’s core activities is undertaking research designed to enable senior management, Security Focal Points (SFPs), and programme managers to review and revise security and risk management policies and structures based on best practices and joint experience. The research projects include practical tools, briefing papers and guidelines. More information about these projects can be found on the Research pages.
